Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between the Provider ("[YOUR LEGAL NAME / COMPANY NAME]") and you, the customer using PayGuard Approvals.

1) What PayGuard Approvals is

PayGuard Approvals is a software tool that helps you request approvals for vendor payments, record approvals/rejections, and create approval receipts and audit logs.

Important: PayGuard Approvals does not process payments, move money, connect to banks, or store bank login credentials. You pay vendors using your own bank or accounting system.

2) Your responsibilities

  • Choosing the correct approvers and keeping the approver list updated
  • Verifying payment details before paying
  • Creating and maintaining your internal payment policy
  • Deciding whether to require two-person approvals for sensitive changes
  • Ensuring your users keep their login details and email accounts secure

3) Approvals by email

PayGuard Approvals may send approval links by email. These links are single-use and time-limited. You should not forward approval links. If an approver's email account is compromised, approvals could be misused.

4) Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that approvals will prevent all fraud or mistakes, that emails will always be delivered without delay, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

5) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the event.

6) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
